G. G. Messenger, M.D., PLLC, is one of the most successful and trusted dermatologic practices in the Lansing area. Andrew L. Messenger, M.D., started this Lansing dermatology practice in 1959. His son, Gregory G. Messenger, M.D., joined the practice in 1984. For 50 years, this speciality office has provided quality expert care in diseases associated with the skin, hair and nails. We treat a wide variety of skin conditions including acne, eczema, hair loss, vitiligo, psoriasis, as well as skin cancers and autoimmune disease. We strive to provide our patients with the highest standard of care in a warm and professional environment.

Your First Visit

For your first appointment here we will need for you to arrive 15 minutes early. We will give you forms to complete, and we will photocopy your insurance cards and drivers license for your chart. You should plan to be at our office for at least an hour.

Please have a list of all prescription or non-prescription medications you have recently taken or are taking now.

If your insurance requires a referral for the appointment, you must present the referral upon arrival or we will have to reschedule the appointment.

Insurance deductibles and copays will be collected on the day of service, PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PAY THEM.

IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YOU MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.

How we can Help

We see patients of all ages - children and adults. We specialize in the treatment of skin cancers and skin diseases, providing skin cancer screenings and treatment for a variety of medical dermatological problems, including eczema and psoriasis. Our goal is to keep your skin, hair, and nails healthy.

We take great pride in putting service to our patients first. While we cannot guarantee the time frame within which a patient will be seen, we work very hard at our office to keep waiting times to a minimum. We understand that your time is important and we work hard to respect that fact.
